The Gallery is your chance to showcase your work whether it is to show off some delicious dishes or a new haircut and color service. Gallery should contain anywhere from 8 to about 15 images. Too many images will increase the size of your App and could make it run slowly while not enough images can decrease the quality of your App.

To Get Started:

  1. Go to the CMS (content.totalloyalty.com)
  2. Login using your unique credentials.
  3. Click Galleries in the left-hand navigation menu.

The first thing you will see is any existing Galleries. Individual images or videos cannot be added without first having a Gallery. Only multi-location Apps can make use of multiple Galleries and assigning each to a different location.

To Create a New Gallery:

  1. Click Add New in the top right corner in the blue bar.
  2. Name your Gallery.
    1. The name of your Gallery will not be seen by your App users.
  3. Click Create.

Note: Galleries can be reordered by simply clicking and dragging to the desired order and clicking Save Sort Order, when done.

Once your Gallery is created, it is time to add your images and/or videos.

To Add Images to Your Gallery:

  1. Click on the Gallery you wish to work on, to open it.
  2. Click Upload Files in the top blue bar.
  3. Select your chosen image(s) from your device.
  4. Click Open to upload the file to your Gallery.
    1. If you get an error message, it is most likely because the filesize of your chosen image is too large. You will need to decrease the file size in another program and attempt to upload again. Another reason may be because there was already a file uploaded with the same file name. You will need to change the filename on your device and attempt your upload again.
  5. Edit or Delete the filename that pulled into the Title field in the CMS, next to your image in the Gallery.
  6. Click Save at the top right corner in the blue bar.

Note: You can delete an image from your Gallery by clicking the trash icon next to the image. This will remove the image from your Gallery but will NOT remove it from your CMS files.

Note: You can reorder your Gallery images by clicking and dragging them to the desired order.

To Add Videos to Your Gallery:

  1. Upload your video to YouTube.
  2. Copy your YouTube ID text from the URL of your video.
    1. Your YouTube ID is the alphanumeric text after the equals sign in the URL.
  3. From the CMS, follow steps 1-5 above for Adding an Image to your Gallery.
    1. You may take a screenshot of the video to use as your image, or use another image of your choice.
  4. Paste your previously copied YouTube ID into the YouTube Id field in CMS next to your image.
  5. Click Save at the top right corner in the blue bar.

Assign the Set to a Location:

  1. Click Assign Locations in the top right corner in the blue bar.
  2. Check the boxes next to the applicable locations.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Save in the top right corner in the blue bar.

When you are all finished editing and saving your Gallery edits, be sure to publish the changes so your customers will see the updates as well.
